This application form is intended for individuals below voting age, or non-resident but with an interest in the community. 

Edinbane Community Co is a Company Limited by Guarantee with Charitable status incorporated under the Companies Act. The Company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association include the following provisions: 

Principal Objects:  

1. To manage community land and assets for the benefit of the Community and the public in general. 

2. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Community in an effort to advance education and to provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation. 

3. To advance the education of the community about its environment, culture and history. 

Liability of Members: 

Every member of the Company undertakes to contribute such amount as may be required (not exceeding £1) to the Company’s assets if it should be wound up while he/she is a member or within one year after he/she ceases to be a member for payment of the Company’s debts and liabilities contracted before he/she ceased to be a member and the costs, charges and expenses  of winding up. 

This means that if you join the Company, your liability for its debts will not exceed £1.  

NO PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME OF JOINING.
