Introduction
The primary school have identified land within the school grounds that are suitable for a forest garden for the children and also a community growing space. The playground will be upgraded to include updated facilities designed for creating play.
Scope
ECC have funding development and landscaping of this space to include a poly crub growing tunnel, vegetable beds, composting facilities and forest walkways behind the school. The school will be working with local business “The Edinbane Lodge” to provide vegetables and herbs for use in the Restaurant. Working with the Edinbane pottery the school children will design and produce “Welcome” signs to the Forest School and growing area.
