ECC can support the costs of apprenticeships or apprentice type training, the  funding support is intended to compensate the business for the cost of employing an individual while they gain experience and confidence to become an asset to the business. Awards are available to businesses in the Edinbane post code are OR individuals from the Edinbane post code area that have an offer of an apprenticeship elsewhere on Skye or Raasay. The names of individuals / businesses in receipt of funding support are published in the annual report.
